Utilizing a CBPR Approach to Data Collection

This course will consist of a 90-minute virtual training to the contracted CBOs to provide guidance on data collection in CBPR projects. During the training, participants will learn how to create a research design and/or proposal for their current project and future ones as well. In addition, participants will grasp the importance of research ethics and brainstorm expected challenges to data collection. Examples from similar approaches will be utilized as case studies to make the material as salient as possible.

The training will be recorded and made available to the contracted CBOs. Follow-up office hours for technical assistance will be made available.
